Learn Spanish at Habla

Overview

Learning Spanish is about creativity. In our reception area, on the wall of our school in Merida, is the word “create.” When you learn Spanish at Habla, you won’t work your way through a textbook, chapter by chapter. Here you will experience language in a dynamic way by reading literature from Latino culture, discussing works of art, and studying grammatical concepts by actually using them to communicate. Most importantly you will learn Spanish so that you can tell your own story and create conversations, narratives, and even poetry in a new language.

Our Approach

“Alegría” is a Spanish word that means happiness and joy; a word we believe should describe any learning experience. Our first focus at Habla is on creating a safe and supportive learning environment where you will enjoy the challenge of learning Spanish.
