Come and join us for this fun and dynamic visual arts workshop in which you will explore the aesthetic and expressive possibilities of letters as unique and distinct images. You will learn a general overview of the letter–its origins, development, topographic families, and range of current applications. You will also rediscover the letter as an aesthetic sign with its many different constructive elements. With this knowledge you will then play with words creating innovative designs expanding your possibilities for graphic expression.
This workshop is open to the general public as well as graphic designers and visual artists.
This workshop will be given as an 4 week course or as a intensive one week course.
